The Puma Deviate Nitro 4 Trainers are designed for adult female runners seeking a high-performance shoe for consistent road mileage and tempo training. Featuring advanced NITROFOAM technology and a carbon composite PWRPLATE, these trainers offer exceptional energy return and an efficient stride for athletes who prioritize speed and comfort. While the shoe provides excellent support and traction, users should note the 38mm/30mm stack height, which offers max cushioning but may feel different for those accustomed to minimal, low-stack footwear.

The Deviate Nitro 4 features neutral gait support, making them suitable for most runners. However, those with severe overpronation may prefer a dedicated stability shoe.
Typically, performance trainers provide optimal support for 300 to 500 miles, depending on your running surface and weight.
No, the engineered mesh upper is designed for maximum breathability and is not waterproof.
While excellent for treadmill running and cardio, the high stack height is less ideal for heavy lateral-movement exercises or lifting.
These trainers feature an 8mm heel-to-toe drop.
Try the 'runner's loop' or 'lock lace' technique to tighten the collar around the ankle.
The foam may require a brief warm-up period at room temperature; it will naturally soften during your run as it warms.
Use a soft brush to dislodge small stones or debris from the PUMAGRIP tread to maintain optimal traction.
The Puma Deviate Nitro 4 features a standard lace-up fastening system, allowing for a personalized, secure fit across the midfoot. Before the first run, ensure the laces are adjusted to accommodate your specific arch height. Since these are performance-oriented shoes, it is recommended to rotate them with other pairs if running daily to allow the foam to decompress. To maintain the life of the upper mesh and outsole, spot clean with a soft cloth and mild soap; avoid machine washing or drying, as high heat can damage the foam properties and adhesive materials.
