Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Your Canterbury Stampade boots are ready to wear right out of the box. Simply put them on and lace them up securely. Ensure a snug fit, but not so tight that it restricts circulation or causes discomfort. It's recommended to break them in during a few light training sessions before a full match to allow them to mold to your feet.
Compatibility
- Player Type: Designed for adult rugby players.
- Ground Type: Specifically optimized for `soft ground` pitches, which often include natural grass fields that are wet or muddy.
- Size: This variant is a UK size 11.
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life of your boots and maintain their performance.
- Clean After Each Use: After every training session or match, especially on soft ground, remove any mud or debris. Use a brush to dislodge large clumps and a damp cloth to wipe down the surfaces.
- Remove Studs (If Applicable): If your boots have removable studs, occasionally take them out and clean the threads to prevent them from seizing. Check for wear and replace worn studs as needed.
- Air Dry: Never force dry your boots with artificial heat (e.g., radiators, hair dryers), as this can damage the materials. Instead, stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and allow them to air dry naturally in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
- Maintain White Colour: For the white areas, use a mild soap and water solution with a soft cloth or sponge to gently scrub away stains. Avoid harsh chemicals.
