Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Before your first use, and periodically thereafter, it is crucial to check and securely tighten all eight 18mm metal studs using a suitable stud wrench. Ensure each stud is fully seated to prevent loss during play and to provide optimal grip.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for soft ground (SG) conditions. Their metal stud configuration provides maximum traction on wet or muddy natural grass pitches. Avoid using these boots on firm ground (FG), artificial turf (AG), or indoor surfaces, as this can damage the studs, reduce performance, and may lead to injury or void the product warranty.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, remove excess mud and debris from the boots and studs. Rinse the boots under cold running water (do not use hot water) and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or artificial heat sources like radiators. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Stud Maintenance: Regularly inspect the metal studs for wear or damage. Replace any worn, bent, or missing studs promptly to maintain optimal performance and safety. Always use 18mm replacement metal studs.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
