Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces completely upon first wear. Insert your foot and tighten the laces evenly from the toe up to the ankle, ensuring a snug but comfortable fit. The lace closure allows for precise adjustment.
- Break-in: As these boots feature K-leather, a short break-in period is recommended. Wear them for light training sessions or short periods before a full match to allow the leather to mold to your foot.
Compatibility
- Playing Surface: These boots are designed exclusively for firm ground (FG). This refers to natural grass pitches that are dry to slightly damp. Using them on artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces is not recommended as it can damage the boots, compromise performance, and potentially lead to injury.
- User: Suitable for adult male players (as per `gender: Male`, `age_group: adult`).
Care Instructions
Proper care is crucial for extending the life and maintaining the performance of your K-leather boots.
- Cleaning After Each Use: After every session, wipe off dirt and mud with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh brushes that can scratch the leather.
- Drying: Never dry your boots with direct heat (e.g., radiators, hairdryers) as this can dry out and crack the leather. Stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and maintain their shape, then allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature.
- Conditioning: Regularly apply a high-quality leather conditioner or boot cream specifically designed for football boots. This keeps the K-leather supple, prevents cracking, and maintains its water resistance.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag or box, away from direct sunlight.
- Avoid Submersion: Do not soak the boots in water for prolonged periods.
