Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the boots are laced snugly but not overly tight. Start from the bottom eyelets and work your way up, pulling evenly to create a secure, comfortable fit. The lace closure helps achieve a personalized feel.
- Break-in Period: Leather boots often require a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions or walks before full-intensity matches to allow the K-leather to mold to your foot shape.
Compatibility
- Ground Type: These boots are designed exclusively for Firm Ground (FG) – dry, natural grass pitches. Using them on artificial turf (AG) or very soft/wet ground can damage the boots, compromise performance, and potentially lead to injury.
- Sizing: These are adult male boots, size UK 9.5. Always refer to adidas's official sizing guide if you are unsure.
Care Instructions
Proper care is essential to maintain the quality, comfort, and longevity of your K-leather boots:
- Clean After Each Use: Immediately after playing, wipe off any mud or dirt with a soft brush or damp cloth. Do not let mud dry on the leather, as it can stiffen and crack.
- Air Dry: Remove insoles and laces, then stuff the boots with newspaper to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape. Air dry them at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (like radiators or hair dryers), which can dry out and damage the leather.
- Condition the Leather: Periodically apply a high-quality leather conditioner or specialized boot cream. This keeps the K-leather soft, supple, and helps prevent cracking. Follow the product instructions for application.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using a boot bag can protect them from scratches and dust.
