Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Your boots come with screw-in studs. Before your first use, ensure all studs are securely tightened into the soleplate. Periodically check stud tightness during and after games to prevent loss or injury. You may consider applying a small amount of thread lock to keep studs secure.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for soft, natural ground (SG), which includes muddy grass pitches. They are not suitable for firm ground (FG), artificial grass (AG), or indoor courts (IC). Using them on unsuitable surfaces can lead to accelerated wear of the studs and soleplate, reduce performance, and may void any warranty.
Care
Cleaning: After each use, especially in muddy conditions, wipe down the K-leather upper with a damp cloth to remove dirt and mud. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive materials. Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources or sunlight, which can cause the leather to crack.
Leather Conditioning: To maintain the suppleness and longevity of the K-leather, periodically apply a quality leather conditioner or cream. This helps prevent the leather from drying out and cracking, preserving its glove-like fit and feel.
Stud Maintenance: Regularly inspect your studs for wear and tear. Replace any worn or damaged studs immediately to maintain optimal grip and prevent injury. Spare studs are often available for purchase.
Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using boot trees can help maintain the shape of the leather upper.
