Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the boots are laced up securely from toe to ankle. Start by loosening the laces, slide the foot in, and then tighten progressively, ensuring a snug but comfortable fit. The knitted tongue should sit comfortably.
- Break-in: While designed for comfort, a short break-in period is recommended. Have your child wear the boots during light training sessions or for short periods before a full match to allow them to mold to their feet.
Compatibility
These are FG (Firm Ground) football boots. They are specifically designed for use on natural grass pitches that are dry to slightly damp. Using FG boots on artificial turf (AG) or soft ground (SG) is not recommended, as it can damage the studs, reduce grip, and potentially void any warranty.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe off any mud and dirt with a damp cloth or soft brush. Avoid harsh cleaning agents.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can cause the synthetic leather to crack or stiffen.
- Maintenance: Periodically, you can apply a synthetic leather conditioner or protective spray to the upper to help maintain its softness and flexibility.
