Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lace Up Securely: Ensure laces are tied firmly but not too tightly to provide a snug fit that supports the foot without restricting circulation. Double knotting is recommended to prevent laces from coming undone during play.
- Break-In Period: Like most football boots, the Sondico Blaze may require a short break-in period. Wear them during lighter training sessions or around the house before a full match to allow them to mold to the foot.
Compatibility
These boots feature Firm Ground (FG) moulded studs. They are specifically designed for use on:
- Firm, natural grass pitches
They are not recommended for:
- Soft or muddy natural grass (SG)
- Artificial grass (AG or turf)
- Indoor surfaces (IC)
Using FG boots on unsuitable surfaces can reduce traction, cause premature wear to the studs, and potentially lead to injury.
Care
- Clean After Each Use: After every game or training, remove excess mud and dirt using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Air Dry: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not force dry with heaters or direct sunlight, as this can damage the synthetic leather.
- Stuff with Paper: To help maintain their shape and absorb moisture, stuff the boots with newspaper while drying.
- Store Properly: Keep boots in a cool, dry place away from direct heat or prolonged moisture. A boot bag can protect them during transport.
- Check Studs: Periodically inspect the moulded studs for wear or damage to ensure optimal performance and safety.
