Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting started with your new Sondico Blaze boots is straightforward:
- Unpack: Remove the boots from their packaging.
- Lace Up: Ensure laces are threaded correctly and tie them securely. A double knot can prevent them from coming undone during play.
- First Wear: Have your child wear the boots for short periods initially to break them in, ideally during a light training session rather than a competitive match.
Compatibility
These boots feature Firm Ground (FG) moulded studs. This means they are specifically designed for:
- Natural Grass Pitches: Best suited for dry or slightly damp natural grass fields.
- Avoid: Do not use these boots on artificial turf (AG), indoor surfaces (IC), or extremely wet/soft ground (SG), as this can damage the boots and increase the risk of injury.
Care Instructions
Proper care extends the lifespan of your football boots:
- Cleaning After Use: Immediately after play, knock off any loose mud. Use a soft brush or damp cloth to wipe down the upper and soleplate. Remove any grass or dirt stuck between the studs.
- Drying: Never dry boots near direct heat sources like radiators or in direct sunlight, as this can crack the synthetic leather. Stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and maintain their shape, then air dry them in a cool, well-ventilated area.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Using a boot bag can protect them during transport.
- Avoid: Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
