Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces sufficiently to easily slide the foot into the boot.
- Foot Placement: Ensure the foot is seated comfortably with the heel at the back of the boot.
- Tighten Laces: Starting from the bottom, tighten the laces evenly, making sure the boot feels snug but not overly restrictive. Double-knot for security during play.
- Initial Wear: For the first few uses, wear the boots for shorter periods to allow them to break in and conform to the foot.
Compatibility
These are FG (Firm Ground) football boots. They are specifically designed for optimal performance on natural grass pitches that are dry to slightly damp. Using FG boots on artificial turf (AG) can lead to excessive stud wear and potential discomfort, while using them on very soft or muddy ground (SG) can result in insufficient grip. Always match the boot type to the playing surface for best results and safety.
Care
- After Each Use: Knock off any loose dirt or grass from the studs and upper.
- Cleaning: Wipe the synthetic leather upper with a damp cloth to remove mud and stains. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by a clean damp cloth.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage the synthetic material.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag, to protect them from dust and damage.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Never put football boots in a washing machine or tumble dryer.
