Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Ensure your feet are clean and dry. It's recommended to wear your preferred football socks.
- Slide In: Gently slide your foot into the boot, using the flexible Primeknit collar to guide your foot. Some initial resistance is normal as the boot molds to your foot.
- Heel Placement: Make sure your heel is seated firmly against the external heel counter for maximum stability.
- Fit Check: Wiggle your toes slightly to ensure there's enough room, and check that the boot feels snug but not uncomfortably tight across your midfoot. The laceless design means the fit is determined by the boot's construction.
Compatibility
- Ground Type: These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG). This means they are optimized for natural grass pitches that are not excessively wet or muddy. Using them on artificial turf (AG), hard ground (HG), or indoor surfaces can cause premature wear and may void your warranty.
- User: Designed for adult males, as per product specifications.
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning After Each Use: Immediately after play, use a soft brush or damp cloth to remove mud, dirt, and grass from the upper and outsole. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do NOT use direct heat sources like radiators, hair dryers, or direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled paper inside to maintain their shape.
- Avoid Submerging: Do not submerge the boots in water or machine wash them.
- Composition: The boots are composed of Synthetic upper/lining and a Textile sole. Follow specific care guidelines for synthetic materials. Info needed: [Specific care guidelines from adidas for HybridTouch 2.0 and Primeknit materials].
