Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Sizing: Ensure you have selected the correct UK size 7. Football boots should fit snugly but not uncomfortably tight.
- Break-in Period: Like all high-performance football boots, these Predators will require a short break-in period. Wear them for a few light training sessions before a competitive match to allow them to mold to your foot shape.
Compatibility
- Surface: These boots are exclusively designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This means natural grass fields that are relatively dry and firm. Using them on artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces is not recommended and can lead to reduced performance, accelerated wear, or potential injury.
- User: Designed for adult male players, UK size 7.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care extends the lifespan and maintains the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning after Use: After every use, gently brush off any loose dirt or mud from the upper and outsole using a soft brush or cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a damp cloth with a mild soap solution.
- Rinse Thoroughly (Outsole Only): You can rinse the outsole under running water to remove mud from between the studs, but avoid saturating the upper.
- Drying: *Do not machine wash or tumble dry*. Air dry your boots at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight, which can damage the materials. You can stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures (e.g., in a car boot).
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use harsh detergents, bleach, or solvents, as these can degrade the synthetic materials.
- Inspection: Regularly check the studs for wear or damage to ensure optimal traction and safety.
