Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- First Wear: When first trying on your new boots, ensure you wear the same type of socks you'll use for playing. The laceless design means the fit is crucial right out of the box. They should feel snug but not uncomfortably tight.
- Break-In Period: While the HybridTouch 2.0 upper is flexible, it's recommended to wear them for a few short training sessions before a full match. This allows the material to conform to your foot's unique shape.
Compatibility
- Playing Surface: These boots are exclusively designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This includes natural grass pitches that are dry and relatively hard. Using them on artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces can damage the boots and may increase the risk of injury or reduce performance.
- Age Group: Specifically sized and designed for Juniors.
Care Instructions
To ensure the longevity and performance of your Predator Elite boots, follow these care steps:
- Clean After Every Use: Immediately after playing, wipe off any mud and dirt using a damp cloth or soft brush. Avoid using harsh detergents.
- Rinse (If Necessary): If heavily soiled, you can rinse the boots lightly with water. Do not submerge them in water or wash them in a washing machine.
- Air Dry: Always allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight, radiators, or other heat sources, as this can cause the material to crack or stiffen.
- Stuff for Shape: You can stuff the boots with newspaper or paper towels to help absorb moisture and maintain their shape during drying.
- Storage: Store them in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat and sunlight. A boot bag can protect them during transport.
