Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- First Wear: When first putting on your laceless boots, gently stretch the Primeknit collar to slide your foot in. The laceless design provides a snug, compressive fit that may feel tight initially.
- Breaking In: Wear the boots for short periods during training sessions or light warm-ups before using them in a full match. This allows the HybridTouch 2.0 upper to mold to your foot shape, optimizing comfort and fit.
- Socks: For the best fit and feel, wear football socks designed for performance that can help wick moisture and reduce friction.
Compatibility
These adidas Predator 24 Elite boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This includes natural grass fields that are typically dry or slightly damp.
- Optimal Use: Dry or slightly damp natural grass.
- Avoid Use: Soft ground (muddy pitches), artificial grass (AG), or indoor courts. Using them on inappropriate surfaces can damage the boots and reduce performance, potentially leading to injury.
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning After Use:
- Immediately after each use, remove loose dirt and mud using a soft brush or cloth.
- Wipe down the HybridTouch 2.0 upper with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Clean the ControlFrame 2.0 outsole, ensuring no mud is left between the studs.
- Drying:
- Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature.
- Do NOT place them near direct heat sources (radiators, hairdryers) as this can damage the materials and cause cracking.
- Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage:
- Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Using a boot bag can protect them from scratches and dirt.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Never put your football boots in a washing machine or tumble dryer.
- Composition: The upper and lining are Synthetic, the sole is Textile. Follow general care for these materials.
