FAQs
Are these boots suitable for wide feet?
The Ultra Nitro 7 features a performance fit, which is generally streamlined. Players with wider feet may find they need to size up by half a size for comfort.
Can I use these on indoor court surfaces?
No, these are designed for firm ground and artificial ground. Indoor courts require flat-soled boots to prevent injury and surface damage.
How do I know if the fit is correct?
You should have approximately a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the boot while wearing your playing socks.
Do I need to clean them after every use?
It is recommended to clear off mud and debris after every use to maintain the traction and integrity of the outsole and upper materials.
What makes the NITRO technology different?
NITRO technology is a nitrogen-infused foam that offers a lighter and more responsive cushioning experience than traditional EVA foam.
Troubleshooting
Boots feel slippery on very wet ground
The Ultra Nitro 7 is optimized for firm and artificial ground. For extremely wet or muddy conditions, consider boots with longer, replaceable studs.
Accumulation of turf pellets inside the boot
Ensure the collar fits snugly around the ankle and consider using higher-quality sports socks to minimize gaps.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your PUMA Ultra Nitro 7 boots last, follow these guidelines for setup and maintenance:
- Break-in: Wear your new boots for light training sessions before using them in a full-intensity match to let the materials mold to your foot.
- Cleaning: After use, remove loose mud with a soft brush. Wipe the upper with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking the boots in water.
- Drying: Air dry the boots naturally at room temperature. Never place them near direct heat sources like radiators, as this can damage the adhesives and structural integrity of the materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading and material degradation.
