FAQs
Are these boots suitable for wet natural grass?
The ULTRA NITRO 7 is optimized for firm and artificial grounds. While they offer good traction, they may not provide enough grip in extremely muddy or soft conditions.
How should I clean the boots?
Use a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior. For stubborn mud, use a soft-bristled brush. Never machine wash the boots.
Do these boots run true to size?
Yes, they generally run true to standard UK sizing, but because they are designed for a secure, performance fit, they may feel snug.
Can I use these on indoor court surfaces?
No, the stud configuration is designed for firm and artificial grass. Using them on hard indoor courts may lead to discomfort and reduced durability.
How long should the boots last?
Durability depends on the frequency of use and surface conditions. With proper care and regular cleaning, they are built to withstand a full season of regular play.
Troubleshooting
Boots feel too stiff initially
Apply a small amount of warm water to the upper before wearing them during a light training session to help soften the materials.
Accumulation of turf pellets in the boot
Ensure the laces are tied securely and consider using a dedicated football sock to create a tighter seal around the ankle.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your PUMA ULTRA NITRO 7 boots last, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Break-in: Wear them during light training sessions before using them in full-intensity matches to allow the materials to mold to your feet.
- Cleaning: After each session, wipe away mud and dirt using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid submerging the boots in water.
- Drying: Air-dry the boots naturally. Never place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in the tumble dryer, as this can damage the adhesives and synthetic materials.
- Storage: Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
