FAQs
Are these boots suitable for wide feet?
The Ultra Nitro 7 Match has a snug, speed-oriented fit. While they provide a secure lockdown, players with significantly wide feet might find them tight.
What does the Nitro foam do?
Nitro foam is a high-performance cushioning technology that provides superior energy return, helping to propel you forward during sprints.
Are these boots for artificial grass or natural grass?
They are primarily designed for firm, natural grass pitches. Use on other surfaces may impact the lifespan of the outsole.
How do I ensure the correct size?
PUMA football boots typically follow standard UK sizing. If you prefer a bit of extra room for movement, you may want to measure your foot length accurately.
Can I machine wash these boots?
No, you should never machine wash football boots. Always clean them by hand with water and a soft cloth to protect the materials.
Troubleshooting
Feeling pressure points during first wear
The boots have a snug, performance fit. Try thinner socks initially or use a shoe stretcher lightly to allow the material to break in.
Stones or debris stuck in the soleplate
Use a dull plastic tool to gently remove debris from between the 'T' studs after every game to maintain traction effectiveness.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your PUMA Ultra Nitro 7 Match boots, it is important to follow proper maintenance steps.
- Break-in: Wear them for short sessions initially to allow the upper to mold to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe away dirt and grass with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive brushes that could damage the lightweight upper material.
- Drying: Air dry the boots naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as extreme heat can warp the soleplate or degrade the foam.
- Storage: Store in a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent moisture buildup and odors.
- Surface Compatibility: These boots are designed for firm, natural ground surfaces. Using them on artificial turf or extremely hard ground may cause premature stud wear.
