FAQs
Are these boots suitable for artificial grass?
Yes, the PUMA ULTRA NITRO 7 is engineered to perform effectively on both firm natural grass and artificial grass surfaces.
Do these boots run true to size?
The boots generally align with standard UK sizing, but the performance fit is streamlined; consider your preference for a snug versus loose feel.
What is the primary benefit of the NITRO cushioning?
The NITRO cushioning provides high-energy return, which helps reduce impact stress and provides responsive comfort during intense movement.
How should I clean the textured upper?
Use a soft-bristled brush or damp cloth to gently wipe away dirt. Avoid abrasive scrubbers that could damage the surface texture.
Can I use these on concrete or indoor courts?
No, these boots are specifically designed for grass and turf fields. Using them on hard, abrasive surfaces will lead to premature wear of the soleplate.
Troubleshooting
Boots feel too tight initially
Lightly stretch the lacing system and wear them for short, light sessions to allow the material to contour to your foot shape.
Loss of grip on the pitch
Inspect the soleplate for built-up mud or turf rubber; clear debris thoroughly using a soft-bristled brush.
Odour buildup inside the boot
Remove the insole after play and allow both to air dry in a well-ventilated area; use odor-absorbing sachets if necessary.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your PUMA ULTRA NITRO 7 boots, verify that you are using them on compatible firm ground or artificial grass pitches. Upon arrival, ensure the laces are adjusted to your preferred tension to accommodate your specific foot shape. After use, remove debris from the soleplate and wipe the upper with a damp cloth; avoid submerging the boots in water or using harsh detergents. Always air-dry your boots at room temperature away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can warp the synthetic materials and weaken the bonding adhesives.
