Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before first use, wash the pan in warm soapy water and dry it thoroughly. While the enamel is robust, avoid using metal utensils that could scratch or chip the surface over time; silicone or wooden tools are preferred. When cooking, gradually increase the heat rather than using the highest setting immediately, as cast iron absorbs heat slowly. For cleaning, wait for the pan to cool completely before washing by hand with a soft sponge. Never use harsh scouring pads or abrasive cleaners, as these will damage the enamel finish. Always ensure the pan is completely dry before storing it to prevent any surface moisture issues.
