Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before first use, wash the pan with warm, soapy water and dry it thoroughly. While the vitreous enamel is durable, it is best to use wooden or silicone utensils to avoid scratching the surface. When moving the pan from the oven, always use heat-resistant gloves as the handle will become extremely hot. For cleaning, allow the pan to cool completely before washing; while the enamel is easy to clean, avoid using harsh scouring pads or metallic brushes that could damage the finish. Store the pan in a dry place, and avoid stacking other heavy items directly on top to protect the enamel coating.
