The PUMA Activate NITRO trainers are designed for adult men who participate in high-intensity interval training, functional fitness, and competitive circuit challenges like HYROX. These trainers excel at providing a stable yet cushioned base for explosive movements, such as sled pushes and burpees, though they are specifically optimized for indoor gym environments rather than long-distance outdoor running.

While they feature NITRO cushioning, they are engineered for short, high-intensity training bursts and circuit work, not for endurance running.
Yes, they provide good traction on most surfaces, though they will perform best on rubber mats, gym flooring, and artificial turf.
Use a damp cloth with mild soap; do not use harsh chemicals or place them in a washing machine, as this may damage the foam properties.
The wider base creates a more stable foundation, which is crucial for maintaining balance during heavy lifting and explosive movements.
They are designed to standard UK athletic sizing; if you prefer extra room for thicker socks, consider how your current trainers fit.
Ensure the laces are tightened securely to utilize the lateral and medial wrap-ups, and verify the shoe is centered on your heel.
Use a soft-bristled brush to remove debris or dried mud from the grooves of the PUMAGRIP outsole to restore full grip.
These trainers come ready for use right out of the box. To maintain their performance, ensure you select your correct UK adult size. For care, avoid submerging the trainers in water. Clean them by wiping the upper and outsole with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry in a cool, shaded area away from direct heat sources, which can degrade the cushioning foam and adhesive bonding. Remove the laces and insoles if they become heavily soiled to clean them separately.
