The Puma Activate Nitro Trainers are designed for adult male athletes focused on high-intensity interval training, HIIT, and functional fitness workouts like HYROX. These shoes offer the key benefit of extreme responsiveness and stability through specialized midsole and outsole technology, though they are primarily optimized for gym-based performance rather than long-distance outdoor running.

While they provide great cushioning for short bursts and intervals, they are optimized for HIIT and gym training rather than distance running.
The wider base offers good stability, but if your training focus is exclusively powerlifting, you may prefer a shoe with a flatter, non-compressed sole.
The Activate Nitro follows standard UK sizing; choose your regular trainer size for the intended performance fit.
No, machine washing can damage the foam and adhesive. Always clean them by hand.
The NITRO foam is designed to provide high levels of energy return, making it ideal for the explosive jumping and movement found in HIIT.
Check that your laces are tightened securely through the midfoot cage to engage the lateral and medial wrap-up support.
Wipe the PUMAGRIP outsole with a damp cloth to remove accumulated dust and restore the rubber's natural tackiness.
To ensure the best experience with your Puma Activate Nitro trainers, begin by loosening the laces to achieve a custom fit through the midfoot. These trainers are true to size for standard adult male foot dimensions; ensure you have enough room in the toe box for natural splay during heavy lifting. Compatibility is highest with indoor gym environments. To maintain the shoes, avoid machine washing; instead, use a soft cloth with mild soap and water to wipe away dirt. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources to preserve the integrity of the foam midsole.
