FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for running?
The Contend 10 is designed for daily activities and light movement. While they offer support, they are not intended for high-intensity running or marathon training.

ASICS typically follows standard sizing; however, we recommend referring to a brand size guide to measure your foot against the UK 11 or other available size specifications.
Can the insoles be removed?
Yes, the insoles are generally removable if you need to insert custom orthotics or replace them.
Are these shoes waterproof?
No, the Contend 10 is made of standard athletic fabrics and is not waterproof.
How often should I replace these trainers?
With daily use, it is generally recommended to replace trainers every 300-500 miles or when the cushioning starts to feel depleted.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too tight initially
Ensure the laces are fully loosened before stepping in, then re-tie to achieve a snug but comfortable tension.
Difficulty cleaning surface marks
Use a soft brush or a mild soap solution specifically formulated for footwear and gently scrub the affected area.
Foot discomfort during long wear
Check that the insole is properly seated and consider replacing the laces with a different lacing pattern to adjust pressure points.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your ASICS Contend 10 trainers remain in top condition, follow these simple maintenance tips:
- Fitting: Ensure you are wearing the appropriate thickness of socks for your activity level when trying on the trainers.
- Cleaning: Wipe away loose dirt and debris with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or using harsh detergents, as this can degrade the materials.
- Drying: Air dry the shoes at room temperature, away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, which can cause the materials to warp or crack.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place to maintain the shape and integrity of the cushioning.
