Full details
The ASICS GEL-1130 trainers are designed for adults seeking a blend of heritage running style and modern comfort. Drawing inspiration from the iconic GEL-KAYANO 14 blueprint, these shoes feature synthetic leather panelling that provides a sleek look suitable for casual wear or light activity. While they excel in aesthetic appeal and structural durability, users should be aware that the leather construction requires a break-in period to achieve maximum comfort.

FAQs
Are these shoes true to size?
Yes, they generally follow standard UK sizing, but keep in mind that the structured fit may feel tighter than mesh-only trainers.
Can I use these for running?
While based on a running blueprint, they are optimized for lifestyle and casual use rather than long-distance athletic performance.
What is the primary material used?
The upper is constructed with synthetic leather panelling.
Are they machine washable?
No, machine washing can damage the synthetic leather and adhesive bonds. Stick to hand cleaning with a damp cloth.
Do these shoes provide arch support?
The GEL-1130 offers moderate support consistent with its running heritage design.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too stiff upon first wear
Wear the trainers for short periods indoors to allow the synthetic leather and internal structure to mold to your foot shape.
Visible scuffs on leather panels
Use a specialized synthetic leather cleaner or a mild soap solution on a soft cloth to gently buff away surface marks.
