The ASICS GEL-1130 trainers are designed for adults seeking a versatile shoe that bridges the gap between late-2000s retro aesthetics and modern performance comfort. Featuring signature GEL technology and the reliable TRUSSTIC support system, these shoes excel as everyday footwear for those who value stability and breathable materials. However, users should note that the suede detailing requires more careful cleaning compared to fully synthetic counterparts.

While they feature heritage performance tech, they are best suited for lifestyle use, walking, and light gym activity rather than professional long-distance running.
Use a sneaker protector spray before the first wear to repel dirt and liquids, and spot clean with a damp cloth immediately after getting them dirty.
The GEL-1130 generally follows standard sizing; however, those who prefer extra room in the toe box or use orthotics may consider sizing up by a half size.
No, machine washing can damage the suede materials and compromise the shoe's structure. Hand cleaning is recommended.
It is a molded component located under the arch of the foot that provides stability and prevents the shoe from twisting during movement.
Ensure you are using a double knot or checking that the laces are threaded through the top eyelets for a more secure lock.
Use a dry suede eraser or a dedicated suede cleaning block to gently lift the stain before brushing.
For the best fit, ensure you adjust the laces across the bridge of the foot to suit your preferred tightness. Since these trainers feature suede elements, avoid wearing them in heavy rain or mud, as suede is sensitive to liquid. To clean, use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry debris from the mesh. For deeper cleaning, use a specialized suede cleaner and avoid submerging the shoes in water, as this can degrade the adhesives and material texture. Always air-dry in a cool, shaded area away from direct heat sources.
