The ASICS GEL-1130 trainers are designed for individuals seeking a blend of heritage aesthetic and modern comfort for daily urban wear. Drawing inspiration from the 2008 GEL-KAYANO 14 design, these shoes offer reliable stability and signature heel cushioning; however, those requiring high-performance technical running features may find them better suited for casual lifestyle use rather than long-distance athletic training.

No, they are made with leather and synthetic panels that are not waterproof. We recommend applying a water-repellent spray if you anticipate light exposure to moisture.
Yes, the GEL-1130 series is designed as a unisex model to provide a comfortable fit across a wide range of users.
While based on a 2008 stability running shoe, they are currently marketed and designed for lifestyle and everyday wear. They may lack the advanced energy return found in current professional-grade running footwear.
ASICS generally run true to size. If you are between sizes, it is recommended to opt for the larger size to ensure adequate toe room during movement.
The GEL-1130 is inspired by the legendary GEL-KAYANO 14 and the broader design language of the 2000s GEL-1000 series.
Use a specialized sneaker cleaning solution and a soft cloth to gently wipe the area without soaking the material.
Use a shoe tree when the sneakers are not in use to help maintain the structure of the leather and reduce deep set-in creases.
For optimal fit, ensure you select your standard UK size, noting that the GEL-1130 tends to follow standard ASICS sizing conventions. Since the upper consists of synthetic leather paneling, avoid submerging the shoes in water or putting them in a washing machine. To clean, use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface dirt and a damp cloth with mild soap for the leather panels. Allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, to prevent the material from cracking or warping.
