The GEL-1130 is primarily a lifestyle trainer inspired by running shoe designs. While it offers good cushioning for walking and light jogging, it is not designed to provide the specific support and performance needed for serious or long-distance running.

A proper fit should allow about a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe when standing. The heel should feel secure without slipping, and there should be no pinching or excessive tightness across the width of your foot.

It is not recommended to machine wash ASICS GEL-1130 trainers. Machine washing can damage the materials, adhesives, and cushioning systems. Hand washing with a soft brush and mild detergent is the preferred method.

The TRUSSTIC™ Support System is a component located in the midfoot of the shoe. It helps to control torsion (twisting) and provides an enhanced level of stability and support for the foot.

For optimal cushioning and support, it's generally recommended to replace trainers every 300-500 miles of use, or when you notice significant signs of wear like flattened cushioning, worn-out treads, or persistent discomfort.
