The ASICS GEL 1130 is a versatile trainer designed for adults who prioritize a blend of heritage running aesthetics and modern durability. Drawing direct inspiration from the iconic GEL-KAYANO 14 blueprint, this shoe provides a structured, supportive fit suitable for daily wear; however, users should note that the synthetic leather construction is better suited for lifestyle comfort than high-intensity long-distance athletics.

While the GEL 1130 is inspired by running designs, it is primarily intended for lifestyle and casual use rather than competitive athletic performance.
The ASICS GEL 1130 generally follows standard adult sizing. If you have worn ASICS previously, the fit is likely consistent with your current size.
It is highly recommended not to wash these in a machine, as the heat and agitation can damage the structural integrity and the GEL cushioning.
Yes, the construction offers moderate arch support consistent with the supportive nature of the GEL-KAYANO series DNA.
The synthetic leather provides some resistance to light moisture, but it is not classified as waterproof.
Use a specialized sneaker cleaning solution or a mild soapy cloth to gently buff the stained areas without soaking the material.
Use cedar shoe trees when not wearing the trainers to help maintain their original shape and minimize deep-set creases.
To ensure your ASICS GEL 1130 trainers remain in optimal condition, treat the synthetic leather regularly with a water and stain repellent spray. If the shoes become dirty, gently wipe the synthetic panels with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; avoid submerging them in water or using harsh detergents which can degrade the adhesive bonds. For optimal performance, replace the factory-issued laces if they fray, and always allow the shoes to air dry away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent material warping.
