Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Upon first use, it's recommended to wear the boots for short periods during training sessions to allow them to mold to your feet. This 'break-in' period helps ensure maximum comfort and performance. Ensure laces are tied securely but not too tightly to avoid pressure points.
Compatibility
These boots are Multi-Ground (FG/MG), meaning they are designed for optimal performance on both:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm and relatively dry.
- Artificial Grass (MG): Modern artificial turf surfaces.
Avoid using these boots on extremely wet, muddy, or icy natural grass, or on older, abrasive artificial turf systems, as this can lead to premature wear and potential injury.
Care Instructions
Proper care extends the life and maintains the performance of your boots:
- Clean After Every Use: Remove excess mud and dirt using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Hand Wash Only: If necessary, hand wash with mild soap and cold water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Air Dry: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources, as these can damage the materials.
- Stuff with Paper: To help maintain shape and absorb moisture, stuff the boots with newspaper while drying.
- Store Properly: Store in a cool, dry place, away from extreme temperatures.
