Initial Setup and Wear
Before your first game, it's recommended to wear the boots in during a few light training sessions. This allows the material to mold to your foot shape, enhancing comfort and fit.
- Lacing: Ensure laces are securely tied to achieve a snug, locked-in feel without being overly tight. Experiment with different lacing patterns if you experience pressure points.
- Sock Choice: Wear with your preferred football socks to replicate game-day conditions during wear-in.
Pitch Compatibility
These boots are designed for optimal performance on:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are dry and firm.
- Artificial Grass (MG): Modern artificial turf pitches.
Using them on other surfaces like soft ground (SG), indoor courts, or very abrasive surfaces can reduce performance and accelerate wear.
Care and Maintenance
Proper care extends the lifespan and maintains the performance of your boots.
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud using a soft brush or damp cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can damage the materials. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using a boot bag can protect them during transport.
