Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces sufficiently to easily slide your foot into the boot.
- Fit: Ensure your heel is snugly seated in the heel cup and your toes have a slight wiggle room without excessive space.
- Tighten: Begin tightening the laces from the bottom (closest to the toes) upwards, ensuring an even, secure fit across your foot without overtightening any specific area. Double-knot for extra security during play.
Compatibility
- Surface: These boots are designed exclusively for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This means natural grass fields that are dry to slightly damp.
- Avoid: Do NOT use on artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces, as this can damage the boots and increase the risk of injury.
- Player Type: Suitable for adult male players in various positions, especially those prioritizing comfort and consistent performance for recreational or amateur play.
Care
Proper care extends the lifespan of your boots and maintains their performance:
- Cleaning After Use: Immediately after each use, wipe off dirt and mud using a damp cloth or soft brush. Avoid harsh detergents.
- Stubborn Dirt: For tougher mud, a mild soap solution can be used. Gently scrub, then rinse with a clean, damp cloth.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do NOT use direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, hairdryers) as this can damage the synthetic leather and adhesives. Stuffing with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using a boot bag to protect them from dust and damage.
- Odor Control: Regularly air out boots. Boot deodorizers or baking soda sachets can help absorb odors.
- Lace Maintenance: Periodically check laces for wear and replace if frayed.
