Setup:
- Lacing: Before your first use, ensure you lace the boots properly, snug but not overly tight, to secure your foot. Experiment with different lacing techniques to find the most comfortable and supportive fit for your foot shape.
- Break-In: Like most football boots, the Goletto may benefit from a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions or casual use before competitive matches to allow the synthetic leather to conform to your feet.
Compatibility:
These boots feature a Firm Ground (FG) soleplate, making them compatible exclusively with natural grass pitches that are firm and dry. They are not recommended for use on artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or very hard ground (HG) surfaces, as this can damage the studs and compromise performance and safety.
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud by gently brushing or wiping the boots with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can cause the synthetic leather to crack or stiffen.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with newspaper stuffed inside to help maintain their shape and absorb any residual moisture.
- Odour Control: Consider using boot deodorizers or simply airing them out thoroughly after each use to prevent unpleasant odours.
