Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Your adidas Goletto boots require minimal setup. Simply put them on and use the lace-up design to achieve a snug, comfortable, and secure fit. Ensure the laces are tied firmly to prevent movement inside the boot during play, but not so tightly that they cause discomfort or restrict circulation.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for adult players and are optimized for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This means they are best suited for use on natural grass pitches that are dry to slightly damp. Using them on artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces may compromise their performance, durability, and could even lead to injury.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning after use: After each match or training session, gently brush off any loose dirt or grass with a soft brush. Use a damp cloth (not soaking wet) to wipe down the synthetic leather upper and outsole. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can cause the materials to crack or shrink. You can stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using a boot bag to protect them during transport.
- Odor control: If odors develop, remove insoles (if removable) and air them out. Boot deodorizers or baking soda can also help absorb smells.
