Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces completely before putting on the boots.
- Fit: Slide your foot in, ensuring your heel is snug against the back.
- Tighten: Start tightening the laces from the bottom, working your way up. Ensure an even tension across your foot. The `lace-up design` allows for a personalized, secure fit. Tie a double knot for extra security during play.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces, which typically means natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp.
- Optimal Use: Natural grass fields.
- Not Recommended: Artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor (IC) surfaces, as the sole configuration is not designed for these terrains and could lead to reduced performance or damage to the boots/surface.
Care
Proper care extends the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning After Use: Immediately after playing, knock off any loose mud or dirt. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the synthetic leather upper and studs. A soft brush can help remove stubborn dirt from the sole.
- Drying: Do not use direct heat (e.g., radiators, hairdryers) to dry your boots, as this can damage the synthetic materials. Instead, stuff the boots with newspaper to absorb moisture and allow them to air dry at room temperature.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using a boot bag to protect them during transport.
- Odor Control: If odors develop, air out the boots thoroughly and consider using a boot deodorizer or baking soda inside.
