Nike Mercurial Superfly 10 Academy Adults Soft Ground Football Boots - Black - UK 9.5

These Nike Mercurial Superfly 10 Academy boots are specifically engineered for Soft Ground (SG) pitches. This includes wet, muddy, or natural grass fields. They are not recommended for firm ground or artificial turf.

After each use, remove excess mud with a soft brush. Wipe down the synthetic upper with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Air dry them away from direct heat, and always refer to the product label for specific care instructions.

The Air Zoom unit is a Nike technology in the midsole that provides responsive cushioning. It gives a 'propulsive feel' underfoot, enhancing energy return and making quick movements, sprints, and jumps feel more explosive.

No, these boots are not suitable for artificial grass. Their soft ground stud configuration can cause excessive grip on AG surfaces, leading to potential injury or damage to the boots and pitch. Always use AG-specific boots for artificial turf.

NikeSkin is a synthetic upper material designed to be thin, lightweight, and durable. The version on these boots features embedded chevrons, which create additional texture and friction on the surface, enhancing your touch and control over the ball, especially in wet conditions.

Ensure you have the correct size. New synthetic boots often require a 'break-in' period; wear them for shorter periods during training to allow them to conform to your foot. Also, try different lacing techniques and ensure you're wearing appropriate sports socks.

Ensure you are playing on a soft ground (wet, natural grass) surface. Check the studs for wear or damage; replace if necessary. Clean any mud or debris from the studs and soleplate after each use to maintain optimal traction.

Ensure the boots are properly broken in through short training sessions. Check that you are wearing appropriate football socks designed to reduce friction. Confirm the boot size is correct; an ill-fitting boot can cause rubbing and discomfort. Adjust lacing for a more secure yet comfortable fit.

This is common for soft ground boots. Clean them thoroughly immediately after play to prevent mud from drying and hardening. Use a soft brush and water to remove all debris. Storing them with newspaper inside can help absorb moisture and keep them lighter for the next use.

While NikeSkin is designed for enhanced control, individual playing style and ball feel can vary. Ensure the boots are clean, as mud on the upper can reduce friction. Practice with the boots to get accustomed to their specific touch and feel on the ball.
