Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unboxing: Remove the boots from their packaging.
- Lacing: Loosen the laces adequately before putting on the boots. The Dynamic Fit collar will provide a snug entry, so ensure laces are fully loosened to avoid strain.
- Wearing: Slide your foot into the boot, ensuring your heel is comfortably seated at the back. Pull the Dynamic Fit collar up around your ankle.
- Adjusting: Tighten the laces evenly from bottom to top, ensuring a secure yet comfortable fit across your foot. Double-knot to prevent untying during play.
Compatibility
These boots feature an FG/MG (Firm Ground/Multi-Ground) soleplate. This means they are compatible with:
- Firm Natural Grass Pitches: Ideal for most natural grass surfaces that are dry to slightly damp.
- Artificial Turf (3G/4G): Suitable for modern artificial grass fields with rubber infill.
They are not recommended for extremely wet, muddy, or soft natural grass pitches (where SG - Soft Ground studs would be better) or for older, abrasive 2G artificial turf (which can cause excessive wear).
Care
Proper care extends the lifespan and maintains the performance of your boots:
- Immediate Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the upper with a damp cloth to remove dirt and mud. Use a soft brush (like an old toothbrush) to clean dirt from the studs and soleplate.
- Stubborn Stains: For more stubborn dirt, use a mild soap mixed with water. Avoid harsh chemicals or detergents, as these can damage the synthetic materials.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, hairdryers) as this can cause the materials to crack or warp. Stuffing boots with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Never put your football boots in a washing machine or dryer.
