Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best performance from your Brooks Ghost 18 trainers, begin by loosening the laces fully before your first fit to allow the tongue and upper to settle naturally around your foot. For daily maintenance, remove the trainers after your run to allow the interior to air out, which preserves the integrity of the cushioning foam. To clean, use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried debris from the rubber outsole and gently wipe the mesh upper with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Avoid machine washing or drying, as high heat can damage the adhesive and structural foam components. If the trainers become heavily saturated, stuff them with paper and let them air dry in a well-ventilated room away from direct heat sources.
