The Trespass Northridge Long Jacket is an ideal outer layer for active kids who enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, walking, and camping in unpredictable weather. It provides a reliable balance of waterproof protection and thermal insulation, ensuring comfort during chilly, wet days; however, while it offers great protection for general outdoor use, its 2000mm waterproof rating is best suited for light to moderate rain rather than heavy, prolonged downpours.

Yes, you can machine wash it on a gentle cycle. Refer to the care label inside the garment for specific temperature settings.
No, the Northridge jacket features a 'grown-on' hood, meaning it is permanently attached to the coat.
The Coldheat insulation is designed for warmth, but for extreme sub-zero temperatures, we recommend layering additional base layers underneath.
It means the fabric can withstand the pressure of a 2000mm column of water before moisture begins to penetrate, which is sufficient for light to moderate rain showers.
The jacket is designed for insulation and protection, but because it is a windproof and waterproof garment, it is best for active movement where airflow is managed by the front zipper.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish may have worn off. Consider applying a wash-in waterproofing treatment designed for technical outerwear.
Clean any debris from the zipper teeth with a soft brush and apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil tip) to the teeth to lubricate them.
To ensure the jacket maintains its performance, avoid using harsh detergents or fabric softeners, as these can compromise the waterproof coating. Wash the jacket in cool water on a gentle cycle. For drying, it is best to hang-dry the garment in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which could damage the synthetic insulation. Always ensure pockets are emptied and zips are closed before putting the jacket through a wash cycle to preserve the hardware longevity.
