The Trespass Northridge Long Jacket is a durable, insulated outer layer designed for active children who enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and walking. Crafted with a TPU membrane and waterproof polyester fabric, it provides essential protection against wind and rain, though its 2000mm waterproofing rating is best suited for light-to-moderate showers rather than extreme heavy downpours.

Yes, it provides good insulation for cold weather, though it is primarily designed for wind and rain protection.
The sizes provided (e.g., 2-3, 3-4) correspond to standard UK children's age groups; we recommend checking the child's height against the brand size chart.
Trespass offers a standard manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
No, tumble drying is not recommended as heat can damage the waterproof TPU membrane.
The fabric is designed for active kids, though it prioritizes wind and water resistance over extreme breathability.
The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating may need refreshing; try re-proofing the jacket with a technical wash-in spray after cleaning.
Check for fabric debris caught in the zipper track. If clean, you can apply a tiny amount of dry lubricant or rub a graphite pencil lead along the teeth.
The Northridge Long Jacket is a standard zip-up garment that requires no assembly. To ensure long-term performance, machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle with a mild detergent—avoid biological detergents or fabric softeners, as these can strip the waterproof TPU membrane. Hang to dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the insulation from clumping or the fabric from losing its integrity. Always ensure zippers are closed before washing to prevent damage to the teeth.
