The Trespass Northridge Long Jacket is an ideal choice for active children who need reliable protection during outdoor play, hiking, or camping trips. Crafted with a durable polyester shell and a TPU membrane, this jacket provides essential warmth through its insulated, padded design and keeps kids dry with a 2000mm waterproof rating. While it offers excellent coverage for wet and windy days, the long-length design may feel slightly restrictive to children who prefer unrestricted movement during high-intensity sports.

Yes, it is generally machine washable, but please refer to the garment care label for the specific temperature and cycle recommendations.
No, this jacket features a 'grown-on' hood, meaning it is permanently attached to the collar.
The jacket has a 2000mm waterproof rating, which is sufficient for light to moderate rain showers, but it is not intended for prolonged exposure to torrential downpours.
The padded insulation is excellent for autumn and spring, or mild winter days, though it may require additional layering for extreme freezing temperatures.
The sizes correspond to standard UK children's sizing. If you expect the child to grow quickly or want to layer thick sweaters underneath, consider sizing up.
The waterproof coating may need refreshing. Ensure it has been washed correctly and consider applying a technical garment re-proofer if the jacket is older.
Check if the internal insulation has become matted. A gentle tumble dry on a cool setting with clean tennis balls can help restore the loft of the padding.
There is no complex setup required; the jacket is ready to wear immediately. Because it features a waterproof membrane, it is important to follow specific care instructions to maintain its protective qualities. Always wash according to the label instructions, ideally using a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can strip away the waterproof properties of the TPU membrane over time. To ensure longevity, air dry the jacket away from direct high-heat sources like radiators, as extreme heat can damage the synthetic insulation and technical coating.
