You should allow 16 hours for the first coat to dry completely before applying the second coat.

It is ideal for exterior metal and wood surfaces such as front doors, window frames, and other outdoor features.

On average, a 750ml tin will cover up to 18 m², depending on the surface porosity and application method.

Troubleshooting

Paint not drying or taking too long to recoat

Ensure ambient temperature is suitable (not too cold or humid) and that ventilation is adequate. Apply thin, even coats as excessively thick coats can prolong drying time. Always allow the recommended 16 hours between coats.

Uneven finish or brush marks visible

Ensure the surface is properly prepared, clean, and smooth. Use a good quality brush and apply paint in even, light strokes. Avoid over-brushing. Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next, as specified (16 hours).

Mould reappearing on painted surface

While the paint contains fungicides, it's crucial to thoroughly clean and treat any existing mould on the surface *before* painting. If mould was not fully eradicated, it might reappear. Ensure the surface is completely dry before application to prevent moisture-related issues.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup

For best results and to ensure the 6-year durability guarantee, surfaces must be in good condition before application. Clean the surface thoroughly, removing any loose paint, dirt, grease, or mould. For mould, treat with a suitable fungicidal wash and allow to dry completely. Ensure surfaces are dry and smooth before painting.

Compatibility

This paint is specifically designed for exterior metal and wood surfaces. It is ideal for front doors, window frames, and other outdoor wooden or metal features. The water-borne formula ensures compatibility with a range of existing paint types, though thorough surface preparation is always recommended.

Care

Being water-based, this paint offers easy cleanup; simply wash brushes and equipment with water immediately after use. Once dry, the paint provides a tough, durable finish that is resistant to mould and cracking, requiring minimal maintenance. For guaranteed durability, ensure the paint system is correctly applied according to instructions.
