Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup & Preparation:
- Clean the Surface: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dirt, loose paint, and grime. Use a suitable degreaser if necessary.
- Sand: Lightly sand previously painted gloss surfaces to create a key for better adhesion. Sand bare wood smooth.
- Prime: For best results and enhanced durability, clean and prime bare metal and wood surfaces with an appropriate exterior primer.
- Application: Apply using a good quality brush. Stir the paint thoroughly before and during use. Apply evenly, avoiding overloading the brush.
- Coats: Apply two coats for the best finish and protection. Allow 16 hours drying time between coats.
Compatibility:
This paint is specifically designed for exterior metal and wood surfaces. It should only be used on cleaned and primed exterior surfaces.
Care & Maintenance:
- Cleaning: To maintain the gloss finish and longevity, periodically clean painted surfaces with a mild detergent and water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect painted areas for any signs of wear or damage. Touch up small areas as needed to prevent moisture ingress.
- Storage: Store any remaining paint in its original tin, tightly sealed, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and frost.
