Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Brooks Glycerin Flex, start by ensuring a proper fit; there should be roughly a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe. For daily use, ensure the laces are snug enough to secure the midfoot without causing pressure points. Maintenance is straightforward: spot clean the upper with mild soap and water using a soft cloth. Never place your trainers in the washing machine or dryer, as the heat can degrade the cushioning foam and adhesive. If the shoes become soaked during a run, remove the insoles and stuff the shoes with newspaper to absorb moisture, allowing them to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
