Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Kaha 3 hiking shoes, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Initial Fit: Ensure you wear the same socks you plan to use on the trail during your initial fitting to get an accurate sense of the volume and support.
- Cleaning: Remove excess dirt and mud with a soft brush after every hike. If the shoes become heavily soiled, use warm water and a mild detergent. Do not machine wash.
- Drying: Air dry the shoes in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as high heat can damage the midsole foam and GORE-TEX membrane.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Ensure they are completely dry before storing to prevent odor and material breakdown.
