Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your HOKA Kaha 3 hiking shoes, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: Wear your shoes on shorter walks or flat terrain for a few days before embarking on long, technical hikes to allow the materials to adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Remove loose mud or dirt after every hike with a soft brush. For deeper cleaning, use lukewarm water and a mild detergent; avoid harsh chemicals that might degrade the GORE-TEX membrane.
- Drying: Air dry your shoes in a cool, shaded area. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as these can warp the midsole and damage the adhesive.
- Storage: Keep your boots in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving them in a hot car, as extreme temperatures can negatively impact the cushioning properties of the EVA foam.
