Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Sizing: Ensure you select the correct size, allowing for some room for your toes, especially if you plan to wear thick hiking socks.
- Lacing: Experiment with the lacing system to find the right balance of support and comfort. Tighten the laces securely around the ankle for added stability.
- Break-In: Allow some time to break in the shoes before a long hike.
Compatibility:
The HOKA Kaha 3 GTX is compatible with most hiking socks and can accommodate orthotic inserts if needed. Check the fit with your preferred socks before heading out on the trail.
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove dirt and debris with a brush or damp cloth.
- Drying: Allow the shoes to air dry naturally, away from direct heat sources.
- Maintenance: Avoid using harsh chemicals or detergents. Periodically clean the shoes with a mild soap solution if necessary.
- Storage: Store the shoes in a cool, dry place when not in use.
