Mylands Westmoreland 160 Marble Matt Emulsion is designed for homeowners and interior decorators seeking a professional, high-end finish that blends historic color depth with modern durability. Yes, its durable and washable nature makes it suitable for many interior rooms, though ensure proper ventilation to manage humidity.
This is specifically formulated as an interior wall emulsion. For wood or metal, consider using one of the Mylands multi-surface paints instead.
No, it creates a subtle, refined texture rather than a rough or gritty feeling, resulting in a sophisticated matte finish.
Yes, it is a low VOC formulation, making it an eco-friendly choice for indoor living spaces.
Keep it in its original container, ensure the lid is sealed airtight, and store in a frost-free, cool environment.
Ensure the paint is stirred thoroughly before use and apply using even, overlapping strokes with a high-quality roller.
Standard practice for this formulation is two full coats to achieve consistent color and depth; ensure the first coat is completely dry before applying the second.
Ensure that all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or loose debris before application. For best results, use a high-quality brush or roller. Because this paint is water-based, cleanup is straightforward using warm, soapy water. While it is durable, avoid using abrasive scrubbers when cleaning walls to preserve the integrity of the marble-infused finish. Store in a cool, dry place and ensure the lid is tightly sealed to prevent the product from drying out between uses.
