For best results and longevity, it is always recommended to use a compatible primer, especially on porous or previously unpainted surfaces.
Store in a cool, dry place, ensuring the lid is completely sealed to prevent air from entering the tin.
Check your room lighting temperature; warm lighting can emphasize the umber undertones, while cool lighting may bring out the green.
Ensure the surface was properly primed and that you are using the correct type of applicator for your chosen finish.
High humidity or low temperatures can slow curing; increase room ventilation or use a dehumidifier if necessary.
Before application, ensure your surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose paint or debris. For optimal results, use a high-quality primer compatible with the specific substrate you are painting. When applying, ensure good ventilation in the room. To maintain the finish, wipe surfaces down gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth, avoiding harsh chemical cleaners that may damage the paint film. Store tins in a cool, dry place with the lid securely fastened to prevent skinning.
