Mylands Millbank No.254 Marble Matt Emulsion is a premium, water-based interior paint designed for homeowners and decorators looking to achieve a sophisticated, earthy brown aesthetic with exceptional depth. Formulated with authentic crushed Carrara marble, it provides a unique texture and a highly durable finish that is both washable and scuff-resistant. While it offers a luxurious atmosphere, users should note that the rich, dark tones require careful planning regarding lighting to maintain the intended warm and inviting effect in smaller spaces.

While durable and washable, it is primarily an interior emulsion. In high-humidity areas, ensure the room is well-ventilated.
The crushed marble provides a subtle texture that adds depth to the finish rather than a gritty or abrasive surface.
This emulsion is designed for walls. For wood trim or furniture, we recommend choosing a multi-surface finish in the same color.
While coverage depends on the surface, two coats are generally recommended for full color depth and durability.
Yes, it is formulated to be low VOC, making it an eco-friendly choice for interior environments.
It serves as an excellent accent to various white shades, which help highlight the magenta undertones in the brown.
Ensure the paint is stirred thoroughly before use to evenly distribute the crushed marble particles.
Ensure the paint has been allowed to fully cure for at least 7-14 days before attempting to wash the surface.
Maintain a 'wet edge' while painting and ensure you are using a roller sleeve appropriate for matte emulsions.
Before application, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust or grease. If painting over existing gloss or semi-gloss surfaces, lightly sand the area to improve adhesion. Use high-quality brushes or rollers to distribute the marble-infused formula evenly. For cleaning finished surfaces, use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap; avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbing pads, which can mar the matte finish over time. This product is intended for interior use only; for exterior projects, consult the dedicated masonry versions of this color.
