Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Choose a Rod: Ensure you have a curtain rod that is sturdy enough to support the weight of these heavy curtains. The rod should extend approximately 6-12 inches beyond the window frame on each side for optimal coverage and aesthetic appeal.
- Hang the Rod: Install your curtain rod securely above your window, ensuring it is level.
- Thread the Curtains: Slide the eyelets (rings) of the curtain panel onto the curtain rod. Typically, you'll alternate the direction of the eyelets to create an even wave pattern.
- Adjust: Once both panels are on the rod, adjust the folds evenly by hand for a neat and elegant appearance.
Compatibility
These eyelet curtains are compatible with any standard curtain rod. The wide range of plain colors (this specific product is Brown) allows them to blend seamlessly with various interior design schemes, from classic to modern. Ensure the chosen color complements your existing furnishings and wall colors.
Care
To maintain the luxurious feel and appearance of your curtains:
- Machine Wash: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Use mild detergent.
- Line Dry: Hang to line dry immediately after washing. Avoid tumble drying to preserve the fabric's texture and prevent shrinkage.
- Ironing: If necessary, iron on a low setting on the reverse side. A garment steamer can also be used to remove wrinkles.
- Material: Made from `100% Polyester`, these curtains are designed for durability and easy care.
